About Electric Bus
An electric bus is driven by an electric motor, which obtains the energy stored and transferred by batteries. Some types of electric buses operate on the energy transferred by overhead electric wires. Electric buses have been in existence since 2009. Initially, these buses were limited to mini versions with a size of 8-10 meters; however, with continuous advancements in technology in battery, heavier and longer electric buses of 12-meter size have been developed, which are being operated in many countries across the globe.
