An energy management system (EMS) uses computer-aided tools to monitor, control, and optimize electrical loads. The EMS allows consumers to monitor and reduce the energy consumption of electrical and electronic devices and conserve energy. In this system, energy consumption can be easily monitored through cell phones, tablets, or other communication devices. It also helps in power management in which it tracks the real-time energy consumption of electronic devices and compares it with historical data. It aims at improving the communication between the tool and the consumer.
