HEVs use both IC engine and electric motor for propulsion. The use of two fuel systems makes HEVs expensive, efficient, and preferred choice among end-users. In addition, the use of battery-operated vehicles helps to reduce carbon emissions and dependence on other fossil fuels. The battery used in AEVs is automatically charged during the transportation through regenerative braking mechanism and is completely refilled or recharge through various range of voltages from 110 volts to 440 volts power supply of residential or commercial charging socket.
