Summary
The City Council of Velizy-Villacoublay is developing the Louvois mixed-use development project.
The project involves the construction of a new mixed-use community on a 24,000m2 area with new retail spaces on a 2,500m2 area, office spaces on a 1,100m2 area, a sports center, a gymnasium, a crèche, a medical center. It includes the construction of 300 residential units with an on-site fitness complex, access routes, 220 parking spaces, development of a garden on a 1ha area and other leisure facilities.
On November 23, 2013 CCVV has awarded the developer contract to a consortium of Yvelines Aménagement, Pitch Promotion SA and SEM-92.
An in-house construction division of the Pitch Promotion and Citallios are undertaking the construction activities.
In November 2015, the demolition activities commenced.
In May 2016, demolition activities were completed and site-preparation activities commenced.
In February 2017, a public inquiry has been held in order to start the construction.
In the the second quarter of 2017, construction activities commenced.
Construction activities are underway.
