Summary
Conseil Général des Landes (CGL) announced plans to develop a tourist complex on a 220ha area in Tosse commune of Landes department in France.

The project involves the construction of a golf complex, a tourist resort and the residential complex.

The golf complex includes the development of two 18-hole golf courses on a 80ha area, a nine-hole golf course on a 9ha area and six hole academic golf course on a 10ha area, the construction of leisure facilities on a 60ha area, a club house and restaurant on a 2,000m2 area, parking facilities on a 12,000m2 area and a four star hotel of 40 to 80 rooms on a 3ha area and power-related facilities.

The tourist resort includes the construction of a 600 to 700 bed tourist residences complex of three and four star accommodation units on a 5ha area.

The residential complex includes the construction of a 720 to 770 residential housing units on a 60ha area.

In June 2015, CGL allocated US$0.2 million for the feasibility studies.

The first two phases of the territorial dialogue on the project were completed in second quarter of 2017.

The third territorial dialogue on the project is going on via the dedicated website.

The OFPS is working on administrative procedures like environmental approvals, aspects of construction and clearance from the authorities.

The active search for developers and investors will take place in the second quarter of 2018.
