Summary
Empresa Nacional de Energía Eléctrica (ENEE), the government-owned primary electricity company of Honduras, is developing the El Tablon Hydroelectric Power Plant project in the 30km southwest of San Pedro, Honduras.

The project involves the construction of a 20MW hydroelectric plant, a concrete dam with a 76m high roller, and the related infrastructure.

In 2006, SNC-Lavalin and Cinsa had appointed as the study consultant on the project. They have completed the study work in 2007.

The geological and topographic research is financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

In 2016, Pre-tender activities were underway.

ENEE is looking for investors to finance the project.
