Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) is planning to undertake the Geothermal thermal Power Plant in Marana, Indonesia.
The project involves the construction of a 20MW geothermal power plant on 48ha of land.
It will include the construction of substations, powerhouse, cooling tower and related infrastructure, and the installation of steam turbines.
In December 2015, tender issued to appoint developer for the project. Following the appointment of the developer, the exploratory drilling will be initiated.
