Summary
Fresca Group Limited (FGL), Kaaij Greenhouses UK Ltd (KG) Rainbow Growers (RG) , A&A Growers (AG) are undertaking the construction of a greenhouse complex in Isle of Thanet, the UK.

The project involves the construction of seven greenhouses each 115m2 long on 91ha of land, seven power stations, reservoirs and installations of safety and security equipment.

The project will be implemented in different phases. The first phase includes three greenhouses, seven reservoirs and a power station plant.

The first greenhouse owned by RG is for peppers, the second greenhouse, owned by KG, is for tomatoes and the third greenhouse, owned by A&A Growers, will be planted with cucumbers.

Bom Group has been appointed as turnkey contractor, VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd as soakaways installation contractor and Alderburgh Ltd as consulting engineer for the project.

On September 21, 2007, the project received final planning approvals.

In October 2007, the construction works on the project were commenced.

In the first quarter of 2009, the construction works on the first phase of the project were completed.

On January 2013, the construction works on the fourth greenhouse were completed.

By November 2016, five of the greenhouses were constructed.

As of June 2017, construction works on the sixth greenhouse is underway.

In October 2017, construction works on sixth greenhouse completed.
