Summary
Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA) is planning to construct the student accommodation complex in Leinster, Ireland.

The project involves the construction of a 30,000m2 DIT student accommodation complex with a capacity of 2,000 beds on 20.2ha of land.

The project will be developed in three phases. The first phase involves the construction of a 700-bed accommodation facility, the second and third phase will be developed to suit the future requirements.

RPS Consulting Engineers Ltd has been appointed as the planning consultant and Kavanagh Tuite Ltd as architect for the project.

In October 2016, GDA commenced procurement process for the DIT student accommodation complex. GDA and the Department of Education and Skills are facilitating the procurement process.

Subject to approval, construction of the first phase is expected to be completed by September 2019 and the entire project is scheduled to be completed by 2022.
