About Magnetron
Magnetrons having the capability to achieve frequency agility (FA) in regard to radar operations are called frequency agile magnetrons. They can tune the output frequency of the radar with a speed that is sufficient to produce pulse-to-pulse frequency change. This changing frequency is greater than the amount required and allows the radar to effectively obtain decorrelation of adjacent radar echoes.
