About RF Filters
RF filters are electronic filters that allow spectrum within the megahertz and gigahertz bandwidth to pass through while blocking other RFs from passing through. RF filters are extensively used in consumer electronics, such as smartphones and tablets, as well as GPS devices, which operate on the frequency spectrum for communication. RF filters can be coupled with diplexers and duplexers to separate or combine radio spectrum from different frequency bands. Modern communication systems rely on RF filters for supporting several subscribers while simultaneously reducing interference created from the transmissions and receptions of several voice and data streams. RF filters should ensure a minimum amount of signal loss within the pass band.
