There are various types of flowmeters: vortex flowmeter, turbine flowmeter, magnetic flowmeter, ultrasonic flowmeter, positive displacement flowmeter, coriolis flowmeter, and multiphase flowmeter. Vortex flowmeters, also known as oscillatory flowmeters or vortex shedding flowmeters, are used to measure the vibrations of the downstream vortexes caused by the barrier placed in a moving stream. Vortex flowmeters are used across various process industries such as Oil and Gas, Chemical, Food and Beverage, Pulp and Paper, and Water and Wastewater for various liquid and gas applications.
