Homes England (HE) is planning to build a residential community in Gosport, South Hampshire, the UK. The project involves the construction of a residential complex. It is implemented in two phases. The first phase includes the construction of a residential community comprising 200 units comprises of 120 private homes and 80 affordable homes, 69,992m2 commercial space, 1,075m2 retail space, 1,839m2 community space, 8,320m2 hotel, 2,321m2 leisure facility and parking spaces and installation of electrical systems, and safety and security systems. The second phase includes the renovation of historic military buildings as industrial units which would allow for a number of aviation, marine, innovation and technology industrial businesses to move into the site. Wates Residential (Wates) has been appointed as the developer, JTP architect as the master planner, Neil Tully Associates as the landscape architect and GL hearn as the lead consultant for the project. In 2016, the project received approvals for the outline planning application. In January 2018, Wates submitted the planning application to the council.
