Summary
Kalehan Enerji Üretim ve Ticaret A.S. (KEUT), a joint venture of Özaltin Construction and Cengiz Construction, is undertaking the construction of a dam and hydroelectric power plant in Genç, Bingöl Province, Turkey.

The project involves the construction of a 115m dam and a 500MW hydroelectric power plant. It includes the construction of a powerhouse, control rooms, a substation, access roads and related infrastructure, the installation of generators, turbines and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.

In June 2016, KEUT awarded a design services contract to Poyry and consortium partner Temelsu.

As of May 2017, design activities are underway.
