The Karnataka Road Development Corporation Ltd (KRDCL) is planning to construct a state highway in Karnataka, India.
The project involves the construction of a 78km road from Shimoga to Harihara via Honnali. It includes the construction of toll plaza, pedestrian walkways, intersections, service roads, bridges and other related facilities, and the installation of signaling and safety systems.
KRDCL invited request for qualification (RFQ) from companies to develop the project on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis with April 16, 2015 as the submission date.
KRDCL has shortlisted Ranbaxy Infratech India Ltd (Ranbaxy) and D.P.Jain & Co. Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd (DP Jain) for the next step of tender process.
On September 28, 2015, KRDCL has invited the shortlisted companies for the submission of RFP bids with the last submission date November 11, 2015.
