Summary
Mission Hospital (MH) is undertaking the construction of a new hospital tower at its Asheville facility in North Carolina, the US.

The project involves the construction of a new 12-story, 63,263m2 hospital tower. It will include the construction of 216 beds, operating rooms, emergency department, heart catheter lab, 84-bed emergency room, intensive care unit, medical-surgery recovery floor, eight general operating rooms, two vascular operating rooms, cafeteria, pharmacy, parking space and the related facilities and the installation of medical equipment and elevators.

In February 2015, HDR, Inc. has been appointed as architect for the project.

On October 15, 2015, the project received approvals from the City of Asheville North Carolina.

Turner Construction has been appointed as General Contractor.

The construction works are underway and expected to be completed in 2019.
