Summary
The Mid Sussex District Council (MSDC) is undertaking the redevelopment of Heath station quarter in West Sussex, the UK.

The project is being promoted by the Solum Regeneration, a partnership company formed between Kier Properties and Network Rail.

The project involves the construction of a Waitrose supermarket, an integrated transport hub, restaurants, retail shops, new cycle parking spaces and a four-level car parking comprising 1,056 parking spaces for the railway station and safety and security systems.

In August 2011, Solum presented conceptual plan for development of the Heath railway station.

On September 6, 2012, planning application was submitted to the Mid Sussex District Council and received formal approval in February 2013.

Pozzoni Architecture has been appointed as architect, BAM Design as structural engineer, Elland Steel Structures as steelwork contractor for supermarket, Bourne Construction Engineering as steelwork contractor for car park, and BAM Construction as Contractor, Halsion Ltd as M&E Design, Fabrik Ltd as Landscape Architect.

The car parking will be operated by Indigo Park Solutions on behalf of Southern Railway.

In October 2014, construction commenced and is underway.
