On February 22, 2017, REHC’s Commission unanimously recommended the project plans.

On March 20, 2017, REHC presented the project plans to St. Peter City Council. A formal vote on the plan will take place at the St. Peter City Council meeting on March 27, 2017.

River Edge's reserves approved US$2.55 million for the project for replacing rooftop heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units and construct a staff quarters.

Johnson Johnson Crabtree Architects has been appointed as the architect and McGough Construction as the construction manager.

On February 15, 2018, Wendell Lorentz Construction was appointed as the excavation contractor, Nielsen Blacktopping as the pavement, curb and gutter contractor, Danny's Construction as steel erection contractor, American Structural Metals as the steel fabrication contractor, Gresser Companies as the concrete supply contractor.

Site preparation activities are expected to commence in April 2018 and would take two years for completion.
