Summary
Urbo Ltd joint venture, comprising Urbo Regeneration and Peverill Securities is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use complex in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, the UK.

The project involves the construction of a 140,000m2 mixed-use complex comprising 10 buildings. It includes the construction of a 50,000m2 residential facility with 525 homes, a 85,000m2 office space, a 500-bed four-star hotel on 20,000m2, restaurants, retail units, associated landscaped public spaces, and 700 car parking spaces, and the installation of security equipment, elevators, escalators, glass walls and other related facilities.

5plus Architects has been appointed as architect, Urbed as the design consultant, HOW Planning LLP as a planner and Renaissance Consulting Engineers UK Ltd., as consulting an engineer.

BNP Paribas and Knight Frank have been appointed as marketing consultants for the project.

In July 2016, Urbo submitted plans to the Sheffield City Council.

In October 2016, Peveril Securities Ltd (Peveril), a subsidiary of Bowmer & Kirkland Group, entered into a joint venture agreement with Urbo and created a new company Urbo (West Bar) Ltd for the project development.

On February 14, 2017, Sheffield City Council approved the Outline planning consent for the project.

Urbo is in process of negotiation with potential occupiers and investors for the project.
