Summary
VicUrban, through a partnership with the City of Greater Dandenong, Government of Victoria and Melbourne Water is undertaking the Dandenong City Redevelopment project in Victoria, Australia.

The project involves the redevelopment of Dandenong city. It includes the revitalizing of a Lonsdale Street, City Street, Station Precinct and a George Street Bridge.

The project also includes the construction of a Halpin Way, a Station Plaza, a Metro Village 3175, a 250 Creek Residential, Logis a commercial and industrial hub, the Palm Plaza, a Pop Up Park, City Walk, Market Area and Public Transport Infrastructure improvements, Australian Taxation Office building, Quest Apartments comprising 55-bed serviced apartment, Salvation Army regional headquarters and other related facilities.

Aspect Studios Architects, Andrew Maynard Architects and GTA Consultants were appointed as the architects for the entire project and Bayport Industries Pty Ltd as subcontractor for Logis.

Pellicano Group has been appointed as the EPC contractor for the Quest Apartments.

In the first quarter of 2010, Grocon Construction, Canteri Bros Construction and Fulton Hogan Industries were appointed as the EPC contractors for the Creek Residential project.

In February 2010, Metro Village 3175 construction work commenced. Burbank Homes, Zuccala Builders and JG King Homes were appointed as the developers for Metro Village 3175 and the construction work was completed in August 2011.

In April 2010, the construction work on George Street Bridge and Lonsdale Street redevelopment commenced and was completed in September 2010 and May 2011 respectively.

In July 2010, the project has received US$255 million from the state government and US$881 million through private investment.

In February 2011, the construction work commenced on Pop up Park and was completed in December 2011.

In April 2012, Fulton Hogan Industries has been awarded the EPC contract for Riverside Park project.

Epc.Pacific has been appointed as general contractor for Australian Taxation Office building.

In December 2015, construction works on Australian Taxation Office building has been completed.

Construction of the Quest Apartments completed.

In March 2017, Places Victoria signed a US$60 million contract with Orion International Group (Orion Foster) as part of the Revitalising Central Dandenong to develop a 14-storey development in Foster Street with 140 apartments.

Construction works on Creek Residential development and Logis are underway.
