WestGen Pty Ltd (WESTGEN) is planning to undertake the construction of a solar farm in Oakford about 30km from Perth, Australia.
The project involves the construction of a solar farm with the power generation capacity of 30MW on a 75ha area.It includes the construction of the solar panels, related infrastructure and the installation of safety and security systems.
MK Design has been appointed as the design consultant.
The WESTGEN is awaiting for necessary approvals.
In May 2017, Kleenheat signed a 10-year binding agreement with WESTGEN to buy energy and renewable energy certificates generated from the project.
In July 2017, a joint venture between WBHO Infrastructure and Phoenix Solar has secured EPC contract.
