Why European Telcos Are Turning to the Cloud for an eHealth StrategyTelecom Insider published January 2013This Insider analyzes the eHealth market opportunities, focusing in particular on cloud computing, and discusses how telecom operators can monetize the healthcare industry's demand for advanced ICT services. We discuss why it is important for telcos to have a healthcare strategy. We talk about the various types of cloud computing services for healthcare telcos can offer and discuss the potential barriers to adoption that telcos have to address. Finally, we provide examples of other ICT services that can complement the deployment of cloud services for healthcare (or hCloud).
