British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) is planning to undertake the construction of a health science complex in British Columbia, Canada.
The project involves the construction of a four-story, 10,355m2 health science complex. It will include the construction of a new simulation laboratory building, three campus buildings, a hospital, a community clinic, a home care facility, parking and related infrastructure.
In February 2013, BCIT submitted a concept plan to Minister of Health, Canada.
Stantec Architecture has been appointed as architect for the project.
On September 19, 2017, BCIT invited tenders for Architect and Engineering Services with last submission date as October 10, 2017.
Subject to approval, construction is expected to commence in 2018 and scheduled to be completed by 2020.
