Costco Wholesale Corporation (COST) is planning to expand the Pickering Place Headquarters in Washington, the US.
The project involves expansion of an office facility with a gross floor area (GFA) of 104,980m2. It includes the construction of 23,225m2 of retail space, office spaces, a cafeteria, parking facilities and related facilities, and the installation of elevators and security systems.
Transportation Solutions Inc. (TSI) has performed the transportation facility assessment and traffic impact analysis and Colliers International has been appointed as consultant.
MG2 Corp has been appointed as architect.
In October 2014, Issaquah City Council approved a 30-year development agreement with COST. One of the agreement’s major details is a public-private partnership (PPP) that will bring much needed street improvements to North Issaquah.
On October 12, 2017, Costco and MG2 Corp submitted detailed plan and design of the project to City of Issaquah DSD.
The Issaquah City Council and COST are working on a development agreement for the project.
