The Department of Transport (DoT) is planning to undertake the construction of railway line in Queensland, Australia.

The project involves the construction of a railway line from Springfield to Redbank Plains. The project includes the construction of railway stations, platforms, administrative space and parking facilities, the installation of signaling, safety and security systems, and the laying of railway tracks and electric lines.

The project is facing delay due to funding issues.

Planning activities are underway and subject to the start of the construction, work is expected to last at-least for six years towards completion.
