Summary
The Ministère de la Culture et de la Francophonie (MCF), in association with C2I and Archi 2000, is planning to build the African Renaissance library Abidjan at the site of the Direction des Examens et Concours (Deco) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The project involves the construction of a 14-story library building on a 1ha land, a library on 21,500m2 area, a convention center on a 10,000m2 area, commercial spaces on a 22,500m2 area, a business center, an office facility, a 2,400-seat conference room, three basements, 900 parking spaces and the installation of elevators and safety and security systems.

The project will be funded by associated promoters Côte d’Ivoire Invest (C2I) and Archi 2000 (30%), and Ecobank investment (70%).

Archi 2000 has been appointed as an architect. Design activities have been completed.

The project is in the process to get the construction approvals from the concerned departments.
