Summary
The Ministry of Health (MoH), Mongolia is planning to construct a hospital in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The project includes the construction of a new 250-bed hospital at the existing Songinokharkhan hospital site.

It includes the construction of a maternity ward, an out and in patient department, diagnostic and laboratory facility, a nursing care facility, and parking facility, and the installation of integrated hospital management system, medical waste management and advanced information technology for health services.

Harp Consultancy and Junglim Architecture Co. Ltd have been appointed as architects, Medpoint Healthcare Group and Meirovich Consulting as lead consultants.

The project will receive US$5.5 million funds from the government of Mongolia and the remaining US$36 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

In July 2016, MoH has issued tenders for inviting bids from contractors for constructing and installing the equipment installation in the proposed project with submission deadline on September 8, 2016.

On April 24, 2017, Vamed Engineering LLC was selected as contractor for the project.
