On February 1, 2018, MoRTH issued bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors, with a submission deadline of February 16, 2018. However, the previous tender yet to be canceled.

On April 3, 2018, MoRTH re-issued a tender to appoint engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for the project with the submission deadline on May 2, 2018.
