Summary
The National Water & Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) plans to construct a water pipeline project in Gulu, Uganda.

The project involves the construction of a water pipeline from river Nile at Karuma to Gulu via small towns along Gulu highway with a capacity to supply 30,000 cubic meters of water per day (m3/d). It includes the construction of a water treatment plant, pump stations, water pipeline and the installation of equipment, safety and security systems.

The project will be funded by World Bank, Government of Uganda and KfW Development Bank.

Detailed engineering work is underway and the construction work is expected to commence in 2019.
