Summary
USACEWD is undertaking the construction of a special tactics facility in Fort Bragg, Hoke County, North Carolina, the US.

The project involves the construction of a SOF special tactics facility. The project will be implemented in phases.

The 3,686m2 two-story headquarters building functional areas include command suite, operations suites, auditorium, conference rooms, cages, communications, latrines and electrical/mechanical spaces.

The 2,908m2 two-story medical training facility functional areas include administrative offices, flight and logistics training, trauma training, conference room, gym, latrines, communications and electrical spaces, mechanical rooms, automatic fire suppression systems, uninterrupted power service (UPS), security system and storage areas.

The 849m2 medical training building includes an aquatic training center.

The 4,202m2 two story combat support training building functional areas include leadership offices, supply, armory, parachute packing and drying tower, classrooms, aircrew support spaces, radio and computers, conference rooms, latrines, communications and electrical spaces, mechanical rooms, automatic fire suppression systems, uninterrupted power service (UPS), security system and storage areas. Support facilities include water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, parking lots with access driveways, walks, curbs, electrical and communications systems, exterior lighting, and landscaping.

It also includes the construction of a 916m2 storage building, a 3,056m2 maintenance facility/equipment barn and a 1,151m2 parking facility, to serve as operations and training facilities, an ISU storage facility, 1,780 linear feet of asphalt pavement, access control point (ACP) search lanes, traffic pattern routing at existing ACP, roundabout, associated sidewalks and storm drainage. Electric services include conditioned (isolated, filtered and regulated) power to service computers and computer-based communications equipment. Protected wire distribution system will be provided from a manhole to the building. The storage facility includes a storage area, a cage storage area, a drive-thru loading area and a cargo build area.

The maintenance/equipment barn functional areas include a boat and vehicle maintenance areas, offices, a tire storage, a fabrication shop, a barn with work areas, a conference room, latrines, communication and electrical spaces, mechanical rooms, and storage areas.

The support facilities include a water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, parking lots with access driveways, walks, curbs, the installation of electrical and communications systems.

The building functional areas includes a radio/comp and weapons storage, team offices, a cadre suite, classrooms, a combative room, vehicle bays, cages, conferences room, communications, latrines, security systems, electrical/mechanical spaces, operations suites, a conference room, communications and electrical spaces, mechanical rooms, security system and storage areas.

On March 1, 2017, USACEWD issued a tender for construction contractor with a submission deadline of August 10, 2017.

On April 5, 2018, RQ Construction, LLC. appointed as a construction contractor for the project with the contract value of US$35 million.
