PT Angkasa Pura I (AP I) is undertaking the Juanda International Airport: Terminal III project in East Java, Indonesia.
The project involves the construction of new terminal on an 809ha of land, which is planned to implement in two phases.
The first phase will be carried out on 150,000m2 of land before expanding onto another 150,000m2 in the second phase of development.
The project includes the construction of, an apron, aircraft stands, baggage handling facilities, parking facilities and expansion of runway from 3,000m to 3,600m.
PT Mitra Incheon, a subsidiary of Incheon International Airport Corporation, has been appointed as the lead consultant.
Landrum & Brown Inc has been appointed to undertake engineering design and financial, terminal and master planning services.
The project is moving at a slow pace as AP I is in the process of seeking partners to develop the project.
