Summary
The Qatar Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is undertaking the reconstruction of Doha industrial area road network in Qatar.

The project refers to the reconstruction of urban roadwork of a total length of 40km in an industrial area of 412ha. It also includes the construction of a new sewerage network, new substations, as well as smart networks for the management of circulation and telecommunications.

Parsons Brinkerhoff has been appointed as program management consultant for the Local Roads and Drainage Program.

Salfo and Associates SA has been appointed as engineering design consultant.

In August 2015, a joint venture of Terna SA, Gulf Consolidated Contractors and Wade Adams Contracting were appointed as construction contractor for the project with a contract value of US$337 million.

In October 2015, construction work commenced and are scheduled for completion by the end of 2018.
