Bin Otaiba Investment Group (BOIG) is undertaking the construction of a five-star resort complex in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
The project involves the construction of a 293-room resort over a site area of 113,000m2. It includes the construction of a health club, a sand-bottomed outdoor pool, Eforea spa, nine restaurants and bars, beach villas, conference facilities that can accommodate up to 800 guests and related facilities and the installation of safety and security systems.
In August 2013, BOIG acquired the property site from Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), a master developer of Saadiyat Island for the project implementation.
In May 2014, BOIG signed a management contract with Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc.
DSA Architects International has been appointed as an architect, Ghantoot Group (GG) as EPC contractor and RMD Kwikform as civil Sub contractor for the project.
In April 2017, Hill International appointed as a management contractor.
Construction activities on the project are underway and slated to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2020.
