Summary
F&T Group (F&T) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use complex in New York, the US.

The project involves the construction of 130,064m2 mixed-use complex comprising two residential towers, an office tower and a boutique hotel. It will be developed in phases.

The first phase includes the construction of a 13-story condominium building comprising 192-units and a 13,935m2 office and retail building. The second phase includes the construction of another condominium building comprising 125 units, 18,580m2 of commercial space and a 200-key hotel.

The first 13-story condominium building is known as Tangram House South and the second is called Tangram House West.

The project includes the construction of retail units, parking spaces and related infrastructure and the installation of safety and security systems.

On March 19, 2015, F&T submitted a planning application to the Department of Buildings, New York.

In the third quarter of 2015, construction activities commenced.

In October 2015, the project received approvals from Community Board 7. The project received approval for the change, as the Federal Aviation Administration and the Port Authority approved a maximum height of 68.8m above the mean sea level.

Shanghai Construction Group (America) Co Ltd has been appointed as developer and construction contractor and Margulies Hoelzli Architecture as architect.

In December 2016, F&T secured a US$214.1 million construction loan from HSBC Bank.

Construction activities are underway on the condominium buildings. The first condominium building is scheduled to complete in the fourth quarter of 2018.
