Summary
The Greater London Authority (GLA) is undertaking the construction of Dagenham Lymington Fields Housing Development project in East London, England, the UK.

The project involves construction of a level four housing facility with a total of 416 new homes comprising 116 homes for affordable rent, 43 homes for shared ownership sale, and 259 homes for private sale. The project will be executed in two phases.

The first phase of the project includes the construction of 125 homes on an 8.7ha of land comprising 83 homes for private sale, 22 homes for affordable rent and 20 shared ownership properties.

The second phase of the project includes the construction of 292 homes.

The project includes the construction of two primary school buildings, access roads, water supply system, sewerage systems, parking facilities and other related infrastructure, and the installation of power related facilities, water supply system, elevators, safety and security systems.

In April 2013, Lovell Partnerships Limited and Home Group were appointed as developers. Lovell Partnerships Limited is undertaking the construction works of the project.

Pollard Thomas Edwards has been appointed as design contractor for the project. 1st Class Brickwork Limited and Reina Group have been appointed as civil subcontractors for the project.

In February 2014, construction works commenced on the first phase of the project.

In June 2014, The Lymington Fields development obtained approvals to develop the second phase of the project.

Construction works for the first phase of the project completed in the fourth quarter of 2015.

In July 2016, Construction works of 75 residential units in the second phase were completed.

Construction works on the remaining homes of the second phase are underway and are scheduled for completion by 2018.
