Summary

The project involves the construction of a 150MW hydropower plant, a 481m long, 83.5m height and 360m width dam and a substation, installation of two Kaplan turbines of 88.9MW each and six radial gates with dimensions of 13.25 x 8.20m of 2,430 m3 per second each handling flow and the laying of the 230kV transmission line of approximately 24km in length.

Ingetec has been appointed as the engineering design consultant on the project.

An in-house division of Hydrovolcan is undertaking the construction.

In January 2017, ground works started on the project.
