Summary
ING Group (ING) is undertaking the construction of a new headquarters at Frankemaheerd in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The project involves the demolition of the existing buildings and the construction of a five-story office building with a gross floor area (GFA) of 36,000m2.

The project includes the construction of commercial space, reception area, conference rooms, meeting rooms, a lobby library, a restaurant and a sun terrace, 400 parking spaces and related facilities, and the installation of elevators, safety and security systems.

The project will be developed by a consortium formed by Royal VolkerWessels Stevin N.V., OVG Real Estate and G&S Vastgoed and will be financed through a Green Loan by ING Real Estate Finance.

Lexence and NautaDutilh have been appointed as legal advisor, PWC as financial advisor, Beelen Sloopwerken B.V. as demolition contractor, Royal VolkerWessels Stevin N.V. as general contractor and OVG Real Estate and G&S Vastgoed as associated developers and project managers.

In March 2016, Benthem Crouwel Architects was appointed as architect.

Karres + brands has been appointed as the landscape architect.

In February 2017, LCN Capital Partners (LCN) has been appointed to undertake the ownership of the new office building when built. LCN signed a 15-year lease agreement with ING for the office building and will fund the construction of the office building.

Beelen Sloopwerken has completed the demolition works at the project site.

The developers have obtained all necessary permits.

In July 2017, construction works commenced and are underway with completion scheduled in 2019.
