Summary
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) is planning to build an institute and hospital in Punjab, India.

The project involves the construction of an institute and hospital comprising 750 beds. It includes the construction of an administration block, AYUSH (Ayurveda, yoga and naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and homoeopathy) block, auditorium, hostels, residential facilities, emergency wards, operating theaters, outpatient units, inpatient wards, intensive care units, a cafeteria, parking and related facilities, and the installation of medical equipment.

On July 27, 2016, the project received approval from the Union Cabinet.

Soil investigation and the topographical survey has been completed. A MoU has been signed with the Govt. of Punjab.

On November 25, 2016, foundation stone laying activities held.

In October 2017, the project's boundary wall is being constructed and Executing Agency for the project is under finalization.
