Summary
PSNC Energy (PSNC) is planning to build a pipeline from Franklinton to Wendell in North Carolina, the US.

The project involves the construction of a natural gas transmission network and will be developed in two phases.

The first phase includes the construction of a 40km gas transmission line that will be extended to the Zebulon area and the second phase will extend at the southern terminus of the first phase and end near Clayton with 19km-24km gas lines.

The project will include the construction of pumping stations, storage facilities, the installation of safety valves, metering systems and the laying of pipelines.

PSNC is not required to seek approval from the state’s Utility Commission for the extension as PSNC has responsibility to provide service to their franchise area and is allowed to expand as needed but has to notify about construction.

TRC Companies, Inc. has been selected to provide engineering and construction support.

Construction is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2018 with scheduled completion by the third quarter of 2019.
