Qatar Petroleum (QP) is undertaking the construction of a pipeline in Doha, Qatar.
The project involves the construction of a 24-inch pipeline. It includes the construction of four Jet A1 storage tanks with a capacity of 53,000m3 each, power facilities and related infrastructure, the installation of booster and mainline pumps and metering systems.
ILF Consulting Engineers has been appointed as Engineering Design Consultant and L&T-Gulf Private Limited as cost consultant for the project.
On February 12, 2016, QP awarded an engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning (EPIC) contract to Consolidated Contractors Company and Teyseer Contracting Company for the project.
Construction works are underway and are scheduled to complete in 2019.
