Summary
Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) is constructing an engine maintenance and overhaul facility in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The project involves the construction of a 60,000m2 jet engine maintenance and overhaul (MRO) facility. It includes the construction of a mosque in a 500m2 area , parking facility, three level administrative office facility, guard houses, retaining walls, perimeter fence and gates, and the installation of safety and security systems.

The facility will be developed by reinforced concrete sub-structure external walls, the roof cover adopts the use of standing seam metal roofing system.

Ghafari Associates has been appointed as a consultant and Freyssinet Saudi Arabia Company Limited (FSA) as general contractor for the project.

Construction activities are underway and is expected for completion by January 2018.
