Scirocco Enterprises Ltd (Scirocco) is planning to undertake a cement factory in Makeni, Lusaka, Zambia.
The project involves the construction of a cement manufacturing plant with a production capacity of 2,500 tonnes per day (TPD). It includes the construction of a grinding unit, a clinker unit, warehouses and related infrastructure, and the installation of machinery.
Scirocco formed a subsidiary company, Amaka Cement Industries Ltd, to build the project.
Scirocco is planning to enter into an agreement with a China-based company, whose name has been withheld, to develop the project.
