Toray Industries Inc. (Toray) is undertaking the construction of Moore Carbon Fiber Manufacturing Plant project in South Carolina, the US.
The project involves the construction of a carbon fiber manufacturing plant on 162ha of land. It includes the construction of a production unit, a warehouse, heat treatment facilities, administrative space and other related facilities, the installation of machinery, safety and security systems.
Toray's in-house division company Toray Engineering Co. Ltd is undertaking the construction works.
In January 2016, groundbreaking ceremony held on the project.
Construction work is underway and it is expected to be completed in 2018.
